Help shape the future of Castle Pines! The combined Castle Pines Planning and Zoning Commission/Board of Adjustment currently has a vacancy and is accepting applications to fill the spot. The Commission is a seven-member board comprised of Castle Pines residents and plays a direct role in shaping how the City grows. The combined board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month.

The Planning and Zoning Commission hears applications for public facility siting and serves as a recommending body to City Council on land use applications. It is also responsible for developing, adopting and certifying the City’s Comprehensive Plan and subsequent amendments. The primary responsibility of the Board of Adjustment is to hold public hearings on variance requests and consider appeals to interpretations made by City Officials.
