Judge Lewis A. Gresh

Judge GreshLouis “Gus” Gresh, served 22 years on the Douglas County Colorado District Court bench as a Magistrate Judge. Assigned to the domestic and juvenile dockets, Magistrate Gresh heard and ruled on over 10,000 divorce cases in his career, the majority of which were large asset, highly contested cases.  Judge Gresh’s civil experience is extensive, having handled the Douglas County Civil docket for over ten years.

Judge Gresh, having completed 280 hours of alternative dispute resolution training, holds a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the National Judicial College, University of Nevada at Reno.

Judge Gresh is the recipient of the 2006 Judicial Excellence Award granted by the Colorado Judicial Institute. As noted in that award, “Magistrate Gresh is recognized as having extensive family law expertise and a commitment to innovation necessary to save litigants time, money and emotional energy. 

Judge Gresh continues to serve as Municipal Judge for the Town of Castle Rock, the City of Lone Tree and the Town of Larkspur in Colorado.  Additionally, Judge Gresh has a long-standing relationship with the United States Tae Kwon Do Federation and has served as an Athlete Arbitration Judge for the United States Olympic Commission.

With more than 15 years of court experience, Karla McCrimmon will serve as court administrator. McCrimmon currently serves in the same capacity for the Town of Castle Rock, and she is the current president of the Colorado Association for Municipal Court Administration.
